East Asia Arts and Culture Scholarships, Newcastle University, UK

Newcastle University is delighted to announce 2 East Asian Arts and Cultures scholarship awards. These are available for international students from East Asian countries (China and Korea) starting their Postgraduate studies in September 2013 in the School of Arts and Cultures.

For a list of applicable programmes see www.ncl.ac.uk/sacs/study/.  Each scholarship will have a value of £2,600 per year, payable towards tuition fees. 

Eligibility
You could be eligible to apply for these awards if:
• You have been made a Conditional or Unconditional offer for a place on a Postgraduate degree programme offered by the School of Arts and Cultures
• You have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes
• Not be in receipt of any other fully-funded or partially-funded scholarship or sponsorship
• You intend to register to start your studies during the 2013-14 academic year.
Applications for these awards cannot be made for a course that has already been started by a student.

To apply for the scholarship please complete the electronic application form. Completed application forms should be sent via e-mail to: eastasia.io@ncl.ac.uk

Please note that applications cannot be considered for candidates unless they have already applied for and been offered a place to study at the University.

The deadline for receipt of applications is 30th June 2013.
