The Developing Solutions Scholarship Fund will reach out to students who have the potential to make a real difference to the development and prosperity of their home countries.
25 awards of 100% tuition fee scholarships are available for students from the developing and third world countries registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus in areas related to science, technology and education, including the following courses:
- MSc Chemical Engineering
- MSc Civil Engineering
- MSc Mechanical Engineering
- MSc Electronic Communication & Computer Engineering
- MSc Computer Science & Entrepreneurship
- MSc Information Technology
- MSc Management of Information Technology
- MSc Crop Biotechnology
- MSc Crop Biotechnology with Entrepreneurship
- MSc Environmental Monitoring & Management
- MA Educational Leadership & Management
- MA Special Needs
- MA TESOL
How to apply
In order to apply
for one of these scholarships you must:
- be holding a conditional or unconditional offer of a place on a full time Masters degree programme at The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus for 2012/13 intakes
- be classified as an ‘overseas’ student for fee purposes
- complete our scholarship application form online
- Submission of application will be open from April 2012
- Application for September intake must reach us latest by 10 August 2012 and for December intake latest by 9 November 2012
- Current students and graduates of UNMC will not be considered for this scholarship as to give new students an opportunity

Finding out if your application has been
successful
- a decision on your application will be made by a panel of University staff
- a member of staff from the University will contact you by email to confirm the outcome of your application
- if you are successful, you will also receive a letter confirming the details of your scholarship
