Erasmus Mundus Scholarships in Finland

The Erasmus Mundus programme promotes Europe as a centre of excellence in learning around the world.
Scholarships are available for either full degree studies in Erasmus Mundus Master’s Courses or Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate Programmes or mobility scholarships of varying periods for students, scholars and other individuals from selected countries and regions outside of the EU who wish to study in European universities.

Scholarships for Erasmus Mundus Master’s Courses and Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorates
Generous scholarships are available for those studying on Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree courses or Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorates which take place in Finland.

The courses are top-quality study programmes, which have been developed jointly by several universities.
Depending on the programme, all students study at least at 2 European universities.
There are two different scholarship amounts, depending on whether you have already studied or lived in Europe:

Mobility scholarships for varying periods
Besides full Master’s courses and Doctoral programmes, Erasmus Mundus offers mobility scholarships for individuals from targeted non-EU countries who wish to do a study exchange in European universities.
  • The period of study can vary from 1 to 34 months (even full degree studies).
  • Scholarships are available for students, researchers and academic staff – even for individuals who have already entered working life.
In principle, students from all fields and levels of study (including teachers and staff) can apply. However, the conditions and availability of scholarships differ depending on the country concerned.
Students who receive a scholarship can receive assistance with travel and insurance costs and a monthly allowance.
