The Chancellor's Scholarships are allocated
annually via a combined postgraduate research scholarship competition and are
open to applicants of any discipline offered at Warwick.
Award Details
For 2014-15 entry the Warwick Graduate School
expects to award around 25 Chancellor's Scholarships to the most outstanding
PhD applicants. Awards made for entry in Autumn 2014 will be up to 3.5 years*
of full time funding and include both of the following:
- The
full payment of overseas tuition fees (provisional £3,936* for full-time sudents
in 2014-15)
- A
maintenance stipend in line with RCUK rates (provisional £13,863* for full
time award holders in 2014-15)
Eligibility
- Applicants
for a Chancellor's Scholarship must also be applying for a full-time PhD
(or MPhil/PhD) at the University of Warwick expecting to begin in October
2014; OR
- Students
currently enrolled on a PhD or MPhil/PhD at the University of Warwick may
apply in their first year of registration only.
- Applicants
may be from any discipline at Warwick.
- Applicants
can be of any nationality, but academic fees will only be paid at the
Home/EU rate.
How to Apply
Chancellor's Scholarships will be awarded through
a combined postgraduate research scholarship competition. The combined PGR
scholarship competition allocates the following scholarships:
- Chancellor's
Scholarship
- Chancellor's
International Scholarship
- Wolfson
Postgraduate Scholarships
Applicants will be considered for all scholarships
listed above for which they are eligible when applying to the postgraduate
research scholarship competition.
To apply to the postgraduate research scholarship
competition there is one application form required, the majority of applicants
will apply via the joint postgraduate admisisons and scholarship application
form- further details about 'How to Apply' can be found in the 'Guidance Notes for Applicants'.
